Interpreting Your Score on these 2  Domains of Emotional Intelligence can range from a low of 0 to a high of 150.

 

Rate your responses on a scale of 1 to 5 where each number stands for the word associated with it .

 

1= Never

2 =Rarely

3 =Sometimes

4 =Usually

5 =Always

 

 

Interpret your totals for each area of competency using the following guide.

 

 101-150 -You have a high emotional intelligence and you can keep improving and working with your strengths.

51 -100 -Giving attention to where you feel you are weakest will pay dividends.

   0-50 -Make emotional intelligence a  development priority.

 

Consider your results and identify one or two actions you can take immediately to strengthen your emotional intelligence .

 

The good news is that ,Emotional Intelligence is learnable and developmental.

 

Some of the things you can do to improve your emotional intelligence are- Use feedback from others, get a mentor within your organisation or friendship circles, take courses ,trainings or read  books and attend seminars to develop in those areas.
