For most managers, managing communication between teams is a big challenge.

Here are some assertive strategies and techniques you can implement:

1.Establish clear expectations: Set clear guidelines and expectations regarding communication within your teams. Make sure everyone understands the importance of open and transparent communication.

2.Foster open channels: Create a culture where team members feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas openly. Encourage regular check-ins, meetings, and brainstorming sessions to promote collaboration.

3.Utilise technology: Leverage technology tools like project management software, messaging platforms, and video conferencing tools to facilitate seamless communication across teams.

4.Active listening: Actively listen to your team members’ concerns, ideas, and feedback. Pay attention to non-verbal cues as well, such as body language or tone of voice during conversations.

5.Provide constructive feedback: Regularly provide constructive feedback on team members’ communication skills while highlighting areas for improvement. Offer guidance on how they can effectively convey their messages.

6.Encourage two-way communication: Foster an environment where all team members feel empowered to share their thoughts and provide input in discussions or decision-making processes.

7.Lead by example: Be a role model when it comes to effective communication practices. Demonstrate active listening skills, maintain an open-door policy, and communicate clearly with your teams.

By implementing these strategies, you will create a positive communication atmosphere that enhances productivity, collaboration, and overall team performance under your leadership as a manager

I hope this is helpful.
